It's been full speed ahead with the upcoming Cheerwine Cherry Bomb 200 this weekend at Rockingham. We have 41 cars pre-entered and there are several more that are coming, so we're getting close to 50 cars for the event.
I talked with Andy Hillenburg this morning and he is going to allow the use of golf cart/ATV in the pits this year. However, you will have to pay a permit fee to the speedway of $ 75.00 and have proof of general liability insurance of $1,000,000 in the name of the owner of said golf cart/ATV to use it. Just wanted to inform you in case you want to bring one.
MANSFIELD
Due to a mix up between Mansfield and us, there is an updated entry form that has a new lower entry fee for the race on July 19th. Also, the race will have a guaranteed $5000 to win regardless of the number of cars entered. Check out the updated entry form for all the information you need. For those who have sent in the previous entry fee, we will credit the difference to you for pit passes when you come to the event at Mansfield.
There has been some questions about the floater rear end rule. Because this is a smaller track, we will allow a non-floater rear end just for this race only.
