ENTRY FORM AVAILABLE FOR THUNDER 150 AT BRISTOL MOTOR SPEEDWAY
The next event on our schedule will be the Thunder 150 at the Bristol Motor Speedway on September 11th, 2010. The entry form, which is located on the upper right hand box on this page, is now available. The schedule for the event is located at the bottom of the entry form. The track will be open on Friday, Sept 10th at 11 AM for staging of haulers and will be open for tech until 5 PM. There will be no on track activity on Friday.
Polar Bear 150 Street Stock Race Rescheduled for Nov. 27, 2010
ROCKINGHAM, N.C. (July 20, 2010) – For those race fans eagerly anticipating the third installment of the Polar Bear 150 Frank Kimmel Street Stock Nationals race at the Rockingham Speedway, the wait just got a little bit shorter. The race, originally slated to be run on Jan. 1, 2011 has been pushed up to Nov. 27, 2010.
“We have received a lot of feedback from the competitors and race fans who loved their experience at street stock races at ‘The Rock,’ but have had problems making it to the New Year’s Day event,” said Rockingham Speedway President. “After talking with the folks with the series, we’ve decided that the Saturday after Thanksgiving would be a great date to run this year’s Polar Bear 150. I can’t imagine anything better to add to your family traditions and turkey than some great racing action.”
